The Education Employees Foundation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was established with effect from 01/07/1986 through an Executive Order for the welfare of Education Employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
In order to rectify the discrepancies and further strengthen the Education Employees Foundation, an Act, namely “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation Act-2018 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. VI of 2019)” was passed by the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 26/12/2018 and was notified on 16/01/2019.
It is an Autonomous Body under the provisions of the EEF Act, 2018.
No such grant-in-aid has so far been provided by the Government.
The Foundation is running purely on the monthly contributions of Education Employees (employees working in and on the strength of DG Commerce, DHE, DE&SE, DE FATA (NMDs), DCTE, EEF and TEVTA) which is being deducted through Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at source from their monthly salaries.
